Buffalo Businessman To Enter Governor's Race
The Republican field in the race for governor will get a little more crowded today when Carl Paladino throws his hat into the race. The Buffalo businessman is expected to announce he's seeking the Republican nomination. Paladino, who has the support of the "Tea Party" leaders in his area, has pledged to spend up to $10 million of his own money on the campaign. He'll vie with Suffolk County executive and Democrat-turned-Republican Steve Levy and former Congressman Rick Lazio for the GOP nod.
