Man Behind Letterman Blackmail Plot To Begin Prison Sentence

The man convicted of trying to blackmail "Late Show" host David Letterman is set to begin serving his prison term Tuesday. Former CBS producer Robert "Joe" Halderman, 52, pleaded guilty in March to grand larceny. As part of the plea deal, he agreed to spend six months in prison and serve 1,000 hours of community service. Halderman admitted he threatened to reveal details of extramarital affairs Letterman had with staff members if he wasn't paid $2 million.
