City Sees Slight Dip In Unemployment

The city's unemployment rate dipped slightly from 10.5 percent in December to 10.4 percent in January, according to the New York State Department of Labor. The state's unemployment rate also dropped slightly during this time period. Unemployment is also down across the country, from 10 percent in December to 9.7 in January.
